Overview of the MCPE 1.19.0.24 BETA version

Introduction

The release of Minecraft 1.19: The Wild Update, the first official beta of the upcoming Minecraft update, has begun, and we now have the opportunity to test it.

This update includes significant enhancements to certain biomes, which makes exploration and the overall experience a much more pleasurable one. While we do not yet have a confirmed release date for this update, we can predict that it will be released sometime in the middle of this year. When it comes to beta testing, it can be overwhelming, but in this post, we'll go over all of the new features in Minecraft 1.19.0.24 beta.

Compass for Recovering

  • A new Recovery Compass can be created using Echo Shards, which can only be found in Ancient City chests and are therefore unique to them.
  • In contrast to a normal Compass, the Recovery Compass will direct you to the location where you died last.
  • In the event that you are not currently in the dimension where you last died, or if you haven't died yet in your world, the wheel will spin at random.
  • A Compass and 8 Echo Shards can be combined to create this item. *Echo Shards will be available as loot from Ancient Cities in a future update.

Warden

  • When the Warden is injured, he now displays a hurt animation (MCPE-153575)
  • We've fixed a bug in which the Warden's ribcage UVs were accidentally overlapping their right tendril UVs (MCPE-153797)
  • When the Warden is enraged, he will now prioritize players over mobs.
  • Improvements were made to the Warden's suspect tracking gameplay behavior, and the Warden's sniffing range was expanded.
  • When a Warden is spawned in Creative mode, the player is no longer subjected to the Darkness effect (MCPE-153536)
  • Deepslate that has been reinforced
  • Deepslate that has been reinforced can no longer be pushed by Pistons (MCPE-153548)
  • Mangrove Swamps are a type of swamp.
  • The generation of the Mangrove Swamp biome is now on par with the Java Edition.
  • New sounds have been added to the Frog Froglight and Frogspawn blocks (MCPE-153195, MCPE-153193)
  • Frog Spawn is now referred to as Frogspawn (MCPE-153210)
  • Horn of a goat (Experimental)

The sound of a goat is now instantaneous.

The Pillager outposts now have Goat Horn variants available.

Copper Horn has been removed. Despite the majority of positive feedback from the community, the Copper Horn was a fun experiment that didn't quite live up to our design goals, so we decided to remove it from the game. We understand that some people may be disappointed, but in order to be able to experiment with new and interesting features, we must be able to remove experimental features from time to time. This creates room for even better features to be added in the future.
